This course will transform you into an underwater instructor, teaching other diving skills. We're talking about a highly respected certification, respected worldwide and backed by the renowned PADI organization.
So, where will you stand at the end of the divemaster course? You will have developed the skills to manage and organize a wide range of diving activities flawlessly. You will have become an instructor and leader in risk management. You will be able to conduct dive precautions and reviews. You will have gained the knowledge to progress from diving to a career in diving.
As a PADI Divemaster, you will lead others as you supervise scuba diving activities and help train divers.
You can enroll in PADI Rescue Diver from age 18 or older. You also need to have completed primary and secondary emergency response (CPR and first aid) training within the past 24 months. You must log at least 40 dives to begin the course. Your medical statement must be signed by a physician within the past 12 months. You will not earn certification until you have completed 60 dives.
This is what you will learn.
You will be trained as an undisputed leader, taking responsibility for diving activities. You will develop the skills necessary to organize and direct a variety of diving activities. You will achieve this through a series of knowledge development sessions, water skills exercises, workshops, and practical assessments.
As a professional diver, you will need all the essential diving equipment, including a dive computer, a dive knife, and at least two signaling devices. During practical skills exercises, such as underwater mapping, search and rescue, you will use a compass, floats, buoys, tow bags, and boards.
